SSAB foresees lower fourth-quarter shipments, prices in Europe
The European demand outlook remains subdued for the fourth quarter after a weaker than normal Q3, with high-strength steel unable to escape the malaise this time, says SSAB. Both shipments and prices will be lower than in Q3.
Compared to Q3, SSAB Special Steels’ shipments are assessed to be stable in Q4, whereas prices are expected to be somewhat lower, Kallanish notes.
