Shangang terminates follow-up construction of Laigang
China-listed Shandong Iron & Steel (Shangang) has decided to terminate follow-up construction of its Laiwu subsidiary (Laigang), Kallanish learns from an exchange filing.
The equipment that has not yet been built includes a 3,800 cubic metre blast furnace, two 100-tonne converters and supporting continuous casting mills.
