Shangang Rizhao to start 3,500mm plate mill construction
Shandong Iron & Steel Group (Shangang) will soon start construction of the 3,500mm medium plate line at its new Rizhao steelworks, according to contractor Shanghai Baoye Group.
According to the project bidding document, the 3,500mm rolling line will produce mainly medium plate and has a capacity of 1.3 million tonnes/year, Kallanish notes.
