Shagang restarts BF in Zhangjiagang
China's Shagang Group has put the No.1 2,680 cubic-metre blast furnace into operation at a steelworks subsidiary in Zhangjiagang city, Jiangsu province.
The overhaul of the blast furnace began on 10 April this year and saw the blast furnace resume iron production on 21 August, Kallanish notes. Next, Shagang will start the No.3 2,680 cubic-metre blast furnace overhaul with the cooperation of MCC Group and Hunan Construction Engineering Group…
