Shagang cuts long steel supply in June
Major eastern Chinese long steel producer Shagang Group has announced overhauls of equipment and a cut to long steel supply in June. As steel margins have shrunk in China with the drop in steel prices, more steelmakers are willing to shut down production lines, Kallanish notes.
