Severstal doubts steel excise will be abolished
Abolishing the excise tax on steel is not on the Russian government’s agenda, says Severstal’s main shareholder, Alexey Mordashov.
“In my opinion, there is no talk of the fact that the excise tax on steel will be abolished from 2025,” he said at a Sberbank business breakfast last week. “The state's fiscal policy lacks predictability.”
