Saudi domestic rebar, wire rod prices decline
The Saudi benchmark mill has followed other local mills by starting to offer extra discounts to induce rebar and wire rod sales, Kallanish learns.
Last week, the mill additionally offered a SAR 100/t ($26.6) discount for wire rod quantities above 100% of the pre-agreed quotas for August deliveries. This was next to a 12-14mm diameter rebar SAR 150/t discount for quantities above 80% of pre-agreed quotas.
