SA’s Kumba updates iron ore output and costs
South Africa’s Kumba, a subsidiary of Anglo American, has updated its 2021 guidance and outlook on production until 2024.
The company’s iron ore production is expected to be 7% higher than in 2020 and production and sales forecast remain in line with the full year 2021 guidance of around 40.5 million tonnes and 39.5mt, respectively.
