Russia’s ZMP starts production of new size
Russia’s Zlatoust Metallurgical Plant (ZMP) has started production of a new product, according to the country's Special Steel Association (USSA).
ZMP now produces rolled products of circular cross section with a diameter of 20mm from heat-resistant nickel-based alloy EP708-VD. Previously, the plant produced only forged bars from this alloy with a cross section of more than 60mm.
