Russia’s seamless pipe production increases, welded falls
Russian production of seamless pipe and seamless hollow sections increased in August, Kallanish notes from national statistical service Rosstat.
Production amounted to 628,000 tonnes, up by 16.7% on-year but 2.1% less than in July.
In January-August, around 4.8 million tonnes of seamless pipe were manufactured, up 13.2% on-year.
