Russia’s car production increases in July
Carmakers in Russia increased production in July compared with the previous month amid the Ukraine war, Western sanctions, and shortages of components.
Production amounted to 47,000 vehicles, higher by 2.4% compared with June and 2.1 times more than a year earlier, Kallanish notes from national statistical service Rosstat data.
In June, Russian carmakers produced 42,000 vehicles, up 31% on-year (see Kallanish passim).
