Russia’s seamless pipe production decreases sequentially, rises on-year
Russian production of seamless pipe and seamless hollow sections decreased in April compared to the previous month, Kallanish notes from national statistical service Rosstat.
Production amounted to 589,800 tonnes, up by 11.6% on-year but down 4% on March.
In January-April, around 2.31 million tonnes of seamless pipe were manufactured, up 11.7% on-year.
Meanwhile, production of welded pipe with an outer diameter of more than 406.4mm amounted to 254,640t in April…
