Russia’s 2021 steel demand to grow 3.6%: MMK
Russian steelmaker MMK expects steel demand in Russia to grow by 3-3.6% in 2021, according to the enterprise’s economic director Andrey Eremin, the company confirmed to Kallanish.
About 4% of the growth will come from construction, 8% from train building, 2%-2.5% from the pipe industry, and up to 10% from the automotive industry.
MMK will continue to sell most of its products on the domestic market, he added.
