Russia decreases domestic railway LDP shipments, exports
Russia decreased large-diameter pipe (LDP) pipe shipments by rail in May, according to Russian Railways (RDZ) data. The volume amounted to 152,100 tonnes, down by 17% year-on-year and 8% less from April levels, Kallanish notes.
Domestic deliveries amounted to 147,100t, down by 3% on-month, but 5% more than in May last year.
Exports of LDP by rail from Russia decreased 19% on-month and were 8.7% lower on-year to 4,900t.
