Rio Tinto suffers fire at Dampier port
Global miner Rio Tinto suffered a fire last Friday at its East Intercourse Island (EII) iron ore berth at Dampier port on the Pilbara coast of Western Australia. The miner has launched an investigation into the fire, the third at its West Australian iron ore ports in the space of 26 months, Kallanish notes.
