Rio Tinto reopens train line after derailment
Global miner Rio Tinto has reopened its train line near Dampier in the Pilbara, Western Australia, following a derailment over the weekend, Kallanish notes. The first train travelled on the restored line on Tuesday night.
"Safety is our top priority and the recovery and clean-up work at the site is progressing at a safe distance from the rail line and nearby power and water infrastructure," Rio Tinto says.
