Rio Tinto driverless train derails in Pilbara
Global miner Rio Tinto confirms that a driverless iron ore train derailed in the Pilbara, Western Australia over the weekend, but no one was injured.
“Rio Tinto confirms a train derailment occurred about 6:30pm on Saturday night, about 20km from Dampier in the Pilbara. The incident involved a loaded train, with approximately 30 wagons derailed," Rio Tinto tells Kallanish.
