Rig count declines on-week in US, Canada

The number of active oil and gas rigs in the US dropped by three in the recent week as of 28 March, Kallanish learns from oil services company Baker Hughes. Canada's total decreased by 18 week-on-week. The US rig count fell to 621 from the prior week’s tally of 624. Of the total, 506 rigs are for oil and 112 are for gas. Three rigs are categorised as miscellaneous.
