Reduced MENA demand slashes Turkish billet exports
Turkish semi-finished product exports, the vast majority of which were billet, slumped -68% on-year in January to 59,231 tonnes, according to Turkish Statistical Institute (TUIK) data monitored by Kallanish. This was also down -12% versus December 2019.
