Reduced Africa demand slashes Turkish billet exports
Turkish semi-finished product exports, the vast majority of which were billet, plummeted -87% on-year in November 2019 to 34,995 tonnes, according to Turkish Statistical Institute (TUIK) data monitored by Kallanish. This was also down from 77,019t in October.
