Rebar prices in the US tighten up
Rebar pricing in the US has firmed up, with the lower end for domestic prices rising by $10/short ton during the week.
According to a rebar distributor in the Northeast, transportation costs have slowly crept upwards throughout the year.
"Supply remains tight and demand is steadily rising ... Increasing transportation costs are being pushed onto buyers," the distributor explains.
