Rebar imports to the US hit yearly low
Imports of rebar to the US reached their lowest level so far this year in October, which was largely due to declining shipments of product from Turkey.
According to the latest data collected by the US Department of Commerce, Kallanish understands that rebar imports to the US totalled 86,757 tonnes in October. Monthly imports were below September's 108,086t, falling to the lowest level seen since January.
