Chinese stainless steel mills lift August offers
Market sources say most Chinese stainless steel producers have stopped taking new orders due to rising raw materials costs. Major stainless steelmakers have lifted their August offers by CNY 100-400/tonne, Kallanish notes.
Tsingshan Group's Shanghai SKS stainless plant has lifted its August offers by CNY 300/t. 304 stainless cold rolled coil was offered at CNY 15,500/t for thickness between 0.38-2.5mm.
