JSW Steel orders meltshop from Primetals
Primetals has bagged an equipment supply contract to deliver a converter melt shop and continuous casters to JSW Steel for the new steel melt shop at its Vijayanagar works. The Indian steelmaker has ordered two BOF(LD)-converters, two ladle furnaces, gas cleaning and dedusting systems, two slab casters, as well as level 1 and level 2 automation systems.
