Posco's steel plants resume normal operations
Posco has resumed normal operations at all of its factories from the 16 June as the disruption to South Korean shipments due to the truck driver strike has eased.
Four wire rod plants and one cold rolling mill at Posco's Pohang steelworks have completed maintenance and resumed normal production, Kallanish notes. The strike resulted in the loss of 23,000 tonnes of wire rod and 13,000t of CRC output at the plant, local media reports.
