Posco to hike HRC offers in April
South Korean steelmaker Posco says it will lift its hot rolled coil prices by KRW 100,000/tonne ($82.54/t) effective April, reflecting the sharp increase in its production costs.
This is the second time the steelmaker has boosted prices this year, Kallanish notes. Previously, Posco decreased HRC prices by KRW 50,000/t in December 2021 and again in January 2022, before announcing a KRW 50,000/t increase in March.
