Posco advances Pohang plant recovery
South Korean steelmaker Posco has accelerated the production recovery at its Pohang plant after it was hit by typhoons and floods last month.
As of 7 October, the No.1 hot-rolling mill, No.1 cold-rolling mill, and No.2 and No.3 electrical steel plate mills have resumed production, easing pressure on supply and demand, Kallanish notes.
