Posco pilots HyREX steelmaking plant

South Korean steelmaker Posco has made progress in hydrogen metallurgy. It revealed to local media last week that its HyREX technology had completed its first steelmaking tests. Posco is using 25% hydrogen and 75% carbon monoxide as reducing agents for steelmaking.
