Posco picks DSME as world’s first high-manganese steel user
Daewoo Shipbuilding & Marine Engineering (DSME) has become the world’s first user of Posco's newly developed high manganese steel after ten years of research, Kallanish notes from DSME’s release.
On 16 June, DSME held a loading ceremony to install a high manganese steel liquefied natural gas (LNG) fuel tank on an ultra-large crude oil carrier, which is the first of its type in the world.
