Posco launches green steel brand
South Korean steel producer Posco has launched the country's first mass-balanced low-carbon steel brand "Greenate certified steel".
This certification refers to reducing the carbon emissions realised in the production process by introducing low-carbon production technology and using low-carbon materials, Kallanish learns from Posco. This is recognised at its Pohang and Gwangyang plants by certification firm Det Norske Veritas (DNV).
