Port Houston’s steel shipments fall in March
Steel tonnages moving through Port Houston declined from February to March but remained well ahead of year-ago levels.
The Port handled 401,587 short tons of steel imports in March. This was a 14% decline from February but 72% higher than the 233,536 st of imports in March 2021.
