Plate prices register uptick in US market
US plate prices rose higher last week, but there are expectations for declining prices in the coming month.
The weekly domestic A36 plate assessment maintained by Kallanish was $20/short ton higher on Monday at $1,850-1,900/st, ex-works mill. Import offers are said to be $400-500/st lower.
