Peru’s monthly iron ore output hits six-month high
Peruvian iron ore production rose month-on-month and was higher year-on-year in March, Kallanish notes.
Iron ore output reached 1.22 million tonnes in the month. This was up 3.2% versus February’s 1.18mt and 7.3% more y-o-y, according to the latest Peruvian Mines and Energy Ministry (Minem) report. This was the highest volume extracted since September when output was 1.23mt.
