Pakistan mills hike coil prices on costlier inputs
Pakistan-based flat steel producers have raised their cold rolled and galvanized coil offers by around PKR 8,200/tonne ($40), mainly because of the recent hikes in electricity tariffs and taxes. Owing to the surge in input costs, production cost has increased, Kallanish notes.
