Nucor orders rebar mini mill from Danieli
US longs producer Nucor has ordered a new mini mill from Italian technology supplier Danieli for the production of rebar from recycled scrap at its facility in Lexington, North Carolina.
In an update from Danieli, Kallanish learns that the new fully endless long steel mini mill will produce 410,000 short tons of rebar from recycled scrap per year.
