Nucor increases tubular prices
Nucor Tubular Products has increased the prices on all new orders of HSS, pipe, mechanical tube, and piling products by $100/short ton, Kallanish learns from a 6 March announcement.
The company cites “rising raw material costs and strong demand” for the price adjustment. Orders confirmed through 31 March are price-protected, while all other unconfirmed quotes and contracts are subject to the new increase.
