Nucor announces dramatic base price decrease on plate
Nucor Plate Group is slashing as-rolled carbon and normalised plate prices by $125/short ton starting 1 July, Kallanish discovers from the company letter.
Quenched-and-tempered plate prices are unchanged for next month, according to the same notification.
“We will continue to monitor the levels of import arrivals and other market activity to ensure our pricing remains competitive in the market,” says Nucor’s letter.
