Slow activity holds back northern European rod prices
Northern European wire rod prices have remained stable again this week amid slow trade due to high energy costs and uncertainty in the market arising from the Russia-Ukraine war.
“Prices continue to be high and trade has slowed down a little bit,” a buyer from the Netherlands tells Kallanish. “However, we continue to buy for our customers for the next quarter.”
