North American rig count jumps by 14
The North American rig count jumped by 14 rigs last week, Kallanish learns from Baker Hughes’ latest report.
In the US, four oil rigs and two gas rigs were added during the week ended 12 November. This brings the total US count to 556, which is 244 more rigs operating than during the same week in 2020.
While New Mexico lost five net rigs, 10 were added in Texas. Ohio and Louisiana added two and one rigs, respectively.
