North American rig count continues upward climb
The North American oil and gas rig count continued its upward trajectory during the week ended 18 February, according to a Kallanish review of data supplied by energy services company Baker Hughes.
The weekly rig count for the US and Canada combined rose by 11 to a total of 865. The count is a rise of 296 over this time last year.
