NMDC’s August output, sales rise dramatically
NMDC’s iron ore output grew 89% on-year to 3.06 million tonnes in August against 1.62mt produced last year. The company’s sales rose 63% on-year to 2.91mt.
The Chhattisgarh-based mine of NMDC recorded 112% on-year growth in production to 2.14mt and sales surged 178% to 2.14mt in August, against 0.77mt a year earlier. Karnataka-based mine production rose 51% to 0.92mt and sales grew 48% to 0.77mt, Kallanish notes.
