NMDC shareholders approve Nagarnar Steel Plant demerger
NMDC shareholders have approved the demerger of Nagarnar Steel Plant (NSP), Kallanish notes.
"We have got [the company's] shareholders’ and creditors’ approval for the demerger process," says NMDC chairman and managing director Sumit Deb.
The steel ministry previously organised two separate meetings of NMDC’s shareholders and creditors to expedite the process of NSP demerging (see Kallanish passim).
