NMDC eyes year-end Chhattisgarh greenfield integrated plant commissioning
NMDC is targeting to commission its Chhattisgarh-based 3 million tonnes/year capacity greenfield integrated steel plant late in the fourth quarter or early in the first quarter of 2022.
The steel plant will have major technological facilities, including a blast furnace of 4,506 cubic meter capacity, hot strip mill coupled with thin slab caster, basic oxygen furnace, and coke oven. The plant will operate on the BF-BOF route, Kallanish notes.
