NMDC posts rise in iron ore output, sales
NMDC’s iron ore output surged 36% on-year to 3.33 million tonnes in October, against 2.44mt a year ago. The company’s sales rose 42% to 3.58mt, Kallanish notes.
NMDC’s Chhattisgarh-based mine’s production grew 29% on-year to 2.34mt, against 1.82mt produced last year. Sales surged 18% to 2.41mt in October. Karnataka-based mine production rose 60% to 0.99mt and sales also grew 144% to 1.17mt.
