NMDC anticipates hitting targets after strong July performance
NMDC’s iron ore output rose 40% on-year to 3.06 million tonnes in July against 2.19mt produced last year. The company’s sales rose 28% on-year to 3.29mt.
The company’s Chhattisgarh-based mines recorded 33% on-year growth in production to 2.08mt and sales soared 22% to 2.31mt in July. Karnataka-based mines production rose 56% to 0.98mt and sales grew 46% to 0.98mt, Kallanish notes.
