NMDC iron ore remains unchanged, expects demand uptick
After four consecutive reductions in iron ore prices, NMDC has decided to keep iron ore values stable for November deliveries.
The iron ore miner has pegged its 65.5% Fe, 6-40mm lump ore, and 64% Fe up to 10mm fines prices at INR 5,950/tonne ($69) and INR 4,760/t respectively, Kallanish notes.
The above prices exclude royalty, district mineral fund, national mineral exploration trust, cess, forest permit fee, and other taxes.
