NMDC achieves record sales, reduces prices
NMDC’s iron ore sales grew 10% on-year in the third fiscal quarter through December 2020 to 9.28 million tonnes, with exports up 13% to 740,000t. Average domestic sales realisation surged 35% to INR 4,402/tonne ($60).
Revenue surged 45% to INR 4,355 crore ($597.3 million), the firm’s best-ever quarterly turnover, and net profit soared 53% to INR 2,109 crore.
