NINL resumes iron ore mining on NMDC support
Indian state-run steel plant Neelachal Ispat Nigam (NINL) has resumed its iron ore mining operations on the back of NMDC’s technical and financial assistance. Mining activity has kicked off at the Mithirda mine block, Kallanish notes.
NINL previously approached NMDC for support to provide impetus to the supply of high-grade iron ore in Odisha. The two companies inked a memorandum of understanding on the assistance.
