Nickel Industries achieves record RKEF production in March quarter
Australian miner Nickel Industries has achieved a record rotary kiln electric furnace (RKEF) quarterly production of 26,665 tonnes of nickel metal in the March quarter. This follows the successful commissioning of its Angel Nickel (ANI) and Oracle Nickel (ONI) RKEF operations in Indonesia, Kallanish notes.
The production comprised of 22,338 tonnes of nickel in nickel pig iron (NPI) and 4,327t of nickel in high-grade (HG) matte.
