Mobarakeh Steel leads Iranian May export surge
Iran’s major steelmakers recorded a 36% on-year rise in exports in the Iranian month through 21 May to 859,000 tonnes, according to Iranian Steel Producers’ Association (ISPA) data published on ISPA’s online Chilan portal.
Khouzestan Steel (KSC) was the largest exporter that month with 359,470t, up 23% on-year, followed by Mobarakeh Steel (MSC) with 203,128t, up 128%, and Esfahan Steel (Esco) with 137,892t, up 96%.
